Radiesse® is a resorbable implant product used to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, as well as correct volume loss in the back of the hand. Radiesse® is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) in a gel carrier, which integrates into the skin and creates a “scaffold,” stimulating collagen and elastin production. As the gel carrier breaks down, formed collagen and elastin replace it which smooths lines and promotes renewed skin structure.
